Municipality in the southern part of la Conca de Barberà, where the region borders on La Segarra. The township takes up an extension of 28'21 Km2. To the west we find the heights of La Cogulla and El Pla de Maria, ramifications of El Tallat and Forès mountain ranges.

The Cantallops mountain range raises up in the north. The town is drained by the Corb river (tributary to the Corb) still the town suffers water restrictions.

The township includes the nowadays deserted villages of Torlanda, Sabella de l'Abadiat and Saladern.

The agriculture is the most important activity in Conesa. The chief crops are wheat, barley and some almond orchards. The town abounds in pasture-lands for herds of sheep and goats, which has supposed a good source of wealth for the town.
